Anyone noticed that they are treating the guys to the left differently? They seem to be slowly let into the noose while a platform is pulled off the feet of the guys to the right. The first guys still kick while the others already hang limp.
was their crime worse than those of the others so that they were sentenced to die more slowly?

Having seen the (usual crappy) video [check the Videos section!], it seems as if the guys on the left fainted – they seemed too frightened to stand properly. The executioners spend quite a bit of time trying to get the guy on the far left to stand up properly so they can kill him. I'm pretty sure he fainted.

Gerry, in Brazil, the first time I saw them (20 years ago), was in a book of Medicin, called "Elementos de Medicina Legal", in portuguese, my country lenguage. The author's name is "Afrânio Peixoto". Is an ilustration of the characteristics of the death by hanging, in that case, in suicides. Is all I can remember about it. Maybe, in Canada, the Earlofprada's country, there is another origin.

Field, (Analysis). Single men found dead hanging using plastic rope in room 210 Palace Hotel, Jalan Ir.Juanda, Medan, Friday (28/10) at approximately 14:00 pm.
