Proof that the often-heard rumour is true: "Men may also reach orgasm on the rope. Dr. Charles Croker King was a surgeon in Ireland in the mid 19th century and was able to examine the body of John Hurley who was hanged on the 27th of August 1853 at Galway, immediately after the execution. Ill bet there are people here that know more about the characteristics of hanging than this "expert":

More than half of the hangings you see here don't involve the tongue being visible (and when it is, it doesnt "stick out" beyond the lips) so that isn't an indicator of suicide, especially since the same occurs in executions and strangling. The discharge of semen is just as anecdotal, since it only occurs occasionally.
 
I'm not sure thast an Indonesian journalist is an 'expert', though he (or she) has probably seen more genuine hanged bodies than either you or me. The Indonesian police seem to accept protruding tiongue, shit, and/or semen in the pants as evidence that a hanging corpse really has hanged himself rather than having been killed and then made to look like a hanging suicide. But they only have to deal with hanged bodies regularly, so what do they know compared to your cynicism?
