Have you noticed that, for all the people they seem to execute, the Islamic people don't know how to perform a proper hanging. The intended is supposed to be weighted and drop a certain distance according to long established tables. It is considered to be more humane to snap the neck because the brain dies rather quickly.

These guys seem to enjoy watching the intended strangle to death as they wiggle around. They appear to deliberately torture their criminals during the last moments of their lives. This is inhumane and makes their society appear primitive and hateful to other cultures. What a shame.

All the people Muslims seem to execute ? Excuse me, firstly there are about 1.2 billion Muslims in the world - so how many people have Muslims killed really ? I remember reading many years ago that in Colombia alone, close to 20 000 people are killed yearly. The United States has one of the highest crime rates in the world.

Think about it - those people who you think Muslims killed are at least criminals but in the West innocent people get killed by gangs, robbers, lynchings etc.

When you compared the numbers of criminals killed in Muslim countries and the number of murder victims in the West, which one is more ?

And by the way, criminals are executed publicly in some Muslim countries as a deterrent to others.

Indeed, how many murderers have been executed in the Muslim countries in the last 30 years , and how many murders have taken place in those countries in the same time period ?

I say, not as many as in the ' civilized ' West.

Coolidge, I hate to go for the obvious, but if Muslims only kill criminals, what "crime" did the victims in the World Trade Towers and on the planes commit?

Coolidge, please note my sentence structure. I said,"for all the people they seem to execute". That means, from my perspective, they appear to execute a lot of people. Also, there are plenty of crimes and murders throughout the Muslim community. Woman tend to be property more than people. Many times, a man is not executed for killing his wife if he simply claims that she was unfaithful or previously soiled. Often, crimes are settled between families and never even go through the judicial system.

On the other hand, as far as whom is executed, many are far from being true criminals. They execute gay people for being gay and straight people who are accused of being gay. They execute debtors who can not pay their debts. The execute adulterers, blasphemers, Christians and political opponents. If you are the top person in the Islamic government, you can have pretty much anybody executed especially if they were publicly despised. If you are a good friend of the man in charge, chances are pretty good that you can have almost anyone executed. If you are wealthy, you can buy someone's execution and also buy your family out of prison.

As long as a government functions by keeping the masses fearful and ignorant, the judicial system doesn't mean a whole lot. How many evolved governments execute people like its public entertainment?

Thanks Dugg. It kind of looks like a prisoner suicide. I wonder what they do with the bodies of the dead prisoners and dead criminals. A traditional burial for each one would probably be too expensive. They could be recycled into fertilizer. Waste not, want not.
