Tree lined street hung with corpses

Corpses of Russian Partisans hanged by German soldiers - and strung up along a tree lined street. A reasonably HQ image worth collecting - if you don't already have it. Good detail on the nearest Russian guy.

Stagecoach hanging

An unusual set of pics dated early 1900s (one was dated 1911). A guy is sat on a stagecoach which is driven away to leave him swinging from an old tree.

I have nothing to suggest this is not real. But ... it does seem to be staged (not intended as pun) Given cameras were big and had to be set up - these seem very posed. Of course - it was common for photographers to work with people involved to get the shots all set up - and they all seem to be posing very nicely for the camera. Maybe a forum member has more info.

Whatever the case - 90 years later we have an interesting set of pics of a guy hanging from a tree. Judge for yourself.
