A female tricycle driver was shot dead in Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on September 23, 2016.

Alyysa Marie Viloria Reyes (March 10, 1993 - August 3, 2011, her grave inscripts that her date of date is August 4, 2011, however a Facebook post dated August 3, 2011 stated that she died at 1:02 PM that day), of Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines, died of bacterial meningitis.

Kristel Mae Cleofe Padasas (June 22, 1987 - January 17, 2015) was killed during Pope Francis' visit to Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines after a scaffolding holding speakers collapsed onto her head. She was rushed to St. Paul's Hospital in that city where she was pronounced dead due to exsanguination.

26-year-old Joan Daniel Anos was found "hanged" on August 3, 2009 in Manila, Philippines. Her relatives did not believe that she committed suicide despite her mental illness. So, she was autopsied. She was buried on August 19.
