A quick search brought about some facts.. Scat is a case of coprophilia, more or less they enjoy consuming feces, etc. From what I've read there was a study done and there were about half of the participants who enjoyed both bestiality and scat.

With a corpse, they are in complete control and have a free will to do anything and everything. Also, a deceased person cannot judge them. I tend to think thats a big part of necrophilia, that with a nonliving person a necrophiliac doesn't have to worry about what the other person thinks about what they are doing, or worry about pleasing the other person at all.

I'd say it also has to do with why probably gay men have more sex than a straight couple over the same period of time. Men have a higher sex drive and naturally are always wanting to fuck something. People say we think with our dicks after all.

dsyn - do you know the book 'Killing for Company', by Brian Masters (published 1985, but I think its still in print and I'm sure you'll find it on amazon or secondhand)?
