Paracetamol to it probably hasn't helped. It was visible that to it painfully and he long suffered!!!!
 
He's a, as themselfes calls it, a "rejvare", meaning a person doing the sub-culture "rave". Funny clothes, psychosis, xtc and the music. I dont know how it's in other countries but in Scandinavia these "ravers" are quite fond of killing themselfes.

I love that he wore a "just do it" T-shirt.
 
Sweden must be a very depressing place to live if so many young people decide to off themselves.
 
They have a high suicide rate in Sweden mostly due to the long dark winters. There has been an ongoing effort for many years to provide light therapy for the people who develop depression. Sweden is also extremely boring during the long night. It, appears this guy just made it worse by belonging to a depressing subculture. It should be everybody's right to choose death. It may be crossing the line a bit though to openly broadcast it. Thanks for the information Earl.
 
Some people are just fucked and no one can help them. Poor dude, this was torture.

The last second before death are amazing, his whole body lifted trying to take in one desperate breath but the brain became terribly starved of oxygen and he passed out.

He was conscious or semi-conscious up to that point.
 
Can someone explane why his face turns from purple back to "normal".
I thought that the colour stayed this way?
 
Very simple. Cause of death is Cerebral hypoxia meaning blood flow to the head was cut by compression to the neck and although he still managed to get some breaths the brain was quickly starved of oxygen - blood vessels were pressed hard. He pressed his own head against the rope.

Once he passed out muscles relaxed and gravity did the rest - blood pooling at the lowest point.
 
We have all heard that men, especially young men, who die by hanging sometimes cum (supposedly about one out of three) while they are suspended and dying. Does anyone think that Marcus' rythmic twitchings have anything to do with terminal ejaculation, or is that just my perverted imagination?
