Her brother claimed that it was due to issues regarding property. By the way, she died in her home in Tondo, Manila. Her death certificate is listed as "ischemic heart disease". The informant on her death certificate is her brother. She is expected to be cremated in Caloocan City.
 
Shayreen Ivy Muñoz

33-year-old Shayreen Ivy Muñoz, of Olongapo City, Zambales and a single mother, was one of the 37 victims of the Resorts World Manila attack that happened on June 2, 2017 in my home city, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She, along with 35 others except for a Korean man who died of heart attack, died of asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation.

Her Facebook account has been permanently deleted following her death. She is survived by her parents, five siblings, and only son.

Aside from Ivy Muñoz, another Resorts World Manila employee named Hazelle Anne "Haze" D. Yongco (August 3, 1987 - June 2, 2017) also died of asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation.

Minor revision to the story about her rape: A family friend is also involved, who fingered her. (My translation is manual since I am a Tagalog speaker, but sometimes I got some erroneous translations because of minor errors in both my English and Tagalog fluency.)

Aside from Ivy and Haze, another Resorts World Manila employee named Jellah Ramos Tabuena (June 4, 1986 - June 2, 2017), of Arayat, Pampanga, Philippines, died of the same cause of death as Ivy and Haze. Her husband, who is also an employee of that workplace, fortunately survived. But, she left her son without a mother following her death. Also, she was supposed to celebrate her 31st birthday. :very very sad:
