MASBATE CITY -- Kalunos-lunos ang sinapit ng isang menor-de-edad na babae matapos gahasain at patayin ng kanyang tiyuhin noong Pebrero 14, sa Brgy. Cagay siyudad ng Masbate.
Kinilala ni Police Senior Inspector Alvaro Ventabal ng Police Community Relations (PCR) Office, Masbate City ang biktima na si Mariah Aira Poe y Dalanon, 17 anyos, Grade 10 student ng Alejandro Delos Reyes Integrated High School (ADRIHS) at residente ng nasabing barangay, samantala ang suspek ay kinilalang si Amador Dalanon y Cos, 32 anyos, may live-in partner at residente ng Purok 1, Brgy. Cagay sakop ng nasabing siyudad.
Sa salaysay ni Rovelyn Dalanon y Cos, 39 anyos, ina ng biktima at kapatid ng suspek, petsa 14 ng Pebrero, dakong alas 5 ng hapon nang hindi na nakauwi pa ang biktima.
Kinaumagahan (Peb 15) ay agad na inireport sa pulisya,ng ina ng biktima ang pagkawala ng anak.
Makalipas ang dalawang araw, (Peb. 16) dakong alas 7:00 ng umaga, nang matagpuan ang wala nang buhay niyang anak, nakasubsob sa putikan, sa ilog ng Purok 6, sakop ng nasabing barangay.
Agad na dinala sa Pipo's funeral parlor ang bangkay para sa otopsiya.
Hinuli din agad ng pulisya, sa tulong ng barangay tanod ang suspek.
Sa salaysay ng isang testigo, ang suspek umano ang huling nakitang kasama ng biktima.
Ayon kay SPO1 Arlene Jones, Chief ng Women and Children's Protection Desk (WCPD), Masbate City ay inamin na rin ng suspek ang kanyang ginawa.
Ayon sa suspek, sinakal raw niya ang biktima, at kahit patay na ito ay kanya pa raw itong ginahasa.
Nahaharap na ngayon sa kasong Rape with Homicide ang nasabing suspek.

MASBATE CITY - A minor girl met her tragic end when she was raped and murdered by her uncle on February 14 in Brgy. Cagay, Masbate City.
Police Senior Inspector Alvaro Ventabal of Police Community Relations (PCR) Office, Masbate City identified the victim as 17-year-old
Mariah Aira Dalanon Poe, Grade 10 student of Alejandro Delos Reyes Integrated High School (ADRIHS) and resident of the said barangay, while the suspect was identified as 32-year-old
Amador Cos Dalanon, in a relationship and resident of District 1, Brgy. Cagay. part of the said city.
The following morning (February 15), the victim's mother reported to the police that her daughter was mising.
Two days later (February 16) at around 7:00 AM, her daughter was found lifeless, face down on the mud, on the river of District 6, part of the said barangay.
Her dead body was immediately brought to Pipo's funeral parlor for an autopsy.
The police, with the help of barangay tanod (sheriff), immediately caught the suspect.
According to a witness' statement, the suspect was the last person seen with the victim.
According to SP01 Arlene Jones, Chief of Women and Children's Protection Desk (WCPD), Masbate City, the suspect admitted to his crime.
According to the suspect, he stranged the victim, and when she died, he raped her.
The said suspect is charged with rape with homicide.
