11-year-old Rasha Mae Mercado was found decomposing in Brgy. Sampiruhan, Calamba, Laguna, Philippines on April 8, 2016. She was reportedly missing as early as April 7, 2016. She was raped, beaten, and stabbed to death by three suspects. On her funeral, her body was entirely covered with a blanket due to foul smell. So, I decided not to include the photos of her funeral. She was buried on April 13, 2016.

19-year-old disc jockey Janfel Yuson Clacio a.k.a. DJ Janella was killed in a motorcycle accident in Legazpi City, Albay, Philippines on January 22, 2016. Here is the full description:

Legazpi City, – [01.22.16] – The rising incident of road accident involving single motorcycles in the province of Albay has claimed it’s latest victim early dawn today, along the intersection of Bogtong Road and the National Highway in Bonot, Legazpi City meters away from the approach of Yawa Bridge, which is undergoing major repair.

The victim was identified by police investigators as Janfel Yuson Clacio a.k.a. DJ Janella, 19 [someone says 18] years old, a disc jockey of O.K Fm Station. She is from Malilipot,Albay.

Based on the footage from the close circuit television camera installed in the area revealed, that the ill-fated single motorcycle is travelling to the direction of Rawis, Legazpi City around 3:30 o’ clock in the morning Friday, when two unidentified motorists from Rawis suddenly appeared and one motorist has occupied the right lane where the victim is traversing has caused Janelle’s motorcycle to skid accidentally on the road intersection.

Yuson fell immediately from the motorcycle together with her back rider Arjay Budlong. Budlong was brought by responders to Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital for medical treatment for minor bruises in his elbow and knees, while Yuson’s body was brought to a funeral parlor nearby the place of accident.

The place of accident is adjacent to Yawa Bridge approach which is undergoing a major repair and sands and pebbles litters which poses dangers to motorists.

35-year-old Virgie Luna, of Brgy. San Vicente, Castilla, Sorsogon, Philippines, was killed after being hit by a Philippine National Railways (PNR) train in Brgy. Bitano, Legazpi City, Albay on January 22, 2016, the same day when DJ Janella was kiled in a motorcycle accident. She was told by residents not to cross the rail, but she did cross the rail and got hit at around 5:30 PM. She was rushed to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

A woman in her 20's was found summarily executed on the roadside in Brgy. Mataas na Lupa [lit. "High Land"], San Pascual, Batangas, Philippines at 7:00 AM on January 19, 2013. Beside her dead body is a placard with the inscription: "WAG NYO AKONG TULARAN, AKO AY TULAK." [Do not emulate me, I am a pusher.] Therefore, this crime is drug-related.

17-year-old beauty queen Krystelle Hurboda (don't mind the spelling on the description below) was killed in a vehicular accident in Brgy. Lutopan, Toledo, Cebu, Philippines on November 24, 2016. Don't mind the dead man who as identified as 68-year-old Carlito Cantiveros.

Krystelle's Facebook account was however deactivated right after her death.

2 dead in Toledo vehicular accident

Two persons were reported to have died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Lutopan in Toledo City late Thursday afternoon.
The victims – Carlito Cantiveros, 68, and Cristel Curvada, 17, were already dead when brought to the Carmen Copper Corporation Hospital in Barangay Das, Toledo City.
Initial police investigation showed that Leo Degario Lapiña of Barangay Perrelos in Carcar City was maneuvering a downhill road while at the vicinity of Barangay Lutopan at about 3:50 p.m. when he lost control of his truck’s brake.

The delivery truck, an Isuzu aluminum van with plate number YAU 489, that came from Naga City was transporting softdrinks to Toledo City.
Naga City is located 20 kilometers south of Cebu City while Toledo City in midwest Cebu is about 54 kilometers away from Cebu City.
PO2 Joselito Genon, desk officer of Toledo City Police Station, said Lapiña’s truck hit Cantiveros’ parked multicab. Cantiveros was unloading mineral water bottles from his multicab when he was rammed by the truck.
The truck also hit Curvada, a senior high school student of the De La Salle University Toledo Campus, who was walking on the road.
“Both victims were brought to Carmen Copper Corporation Hospital but both of them were declared dead on arrival,” Genon said.
Genon said Lapiña is now detained at the Toledo Police Station while they prepare reckless imprudence resulting to homicide charges against him.
