MANILA, Philippines - A woman was shot dead in Malate, Manila early yesterday morning [November 7, 2016].

Police have yet to identify the fatality, described as between 22 and 26 years old.

Senior Police Officer 3 Milbert Balinggan of the Manila Police District homicide unit said the victim was found dead with two gunshots to the body at the corner of Singalong street and Quirino Avenue.

A 28-year-old woman was shot once in the head to death near Jollibee Niog in Bacoor, Cavite, Philippine in the evening of July 16, 2015.

Skeletal remains of an unidentified female were found in an open field at Orange Hill, Brgy. South Poblacion, Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte, Philippines on July 5, 2016. It seems that she had been dead for 4-5 months when she was found. Her decomposition was too fast enough to become unrecognizable when she was found because of the tropical environment, attraction of stray dogs and other predators, and other factors that affect her decomposition. A missing woman from Silang, Cavite had been missing since this year, however it is not yet sure whether she was her.
