I hope he's not dead. I wish he had shared more with me. Maybe I didn't seem like I'd be understanding enough. He sure is cute, I forgot how extremely cute he was. It's tough to think he was facing so many hardships. It would be a shame if he's gone.

The scenes in this above video and which I again post below in which
Frederic Chopin's "Marche Funebre" is performed are mostly from....

...YES, British Columbia, Canada...where our dear friend "Nanaimo Eric" lived.

 "Nanaimo Eric" commented to me many times he best loved these VERY outdoors and this VERY wilderness, where he felt his spirit and body were "most free and close to Nature."

His favorite flower...was yes, THE ROSE.

I have no idea what happened with Eric, but I think he is no longer among us.

We tried to contact him, I even called the RCMP to tell them he was going to kill himself. They said they would get back to me, they never returned a call.

He was such a bright young guy, but we never can fully know what goes on within the mind of a person.

Eric, you are sorely missed.

Thanks to you two Eric will never be forgotten! That is the greatest honor one can achieve!
Let CDG be a memorial to Eric aswell, for a person who touched many, and stirred many feelings.

You are greatly missed Eric, I hope you are still with us, but I think you traded the physical for the spiritual.
 


How do you forget such a beautiful guy?

The worst part is not knowing what really happened. He just stopped responding to emails, chats etc.

Something really devastating must have happened.

He was totally hot and I loved him. I can't forget his jokes and his comments on the guys that we posted.

I think we could have done more for him.

The last day before he disappeared he send me an email saying things were out of control and that his boyfriend told his parents and brother that eric was gay and loved dead guys.

That is the last thing I got from him. He promised to write back...I was calm then, never imagined we would come to this and post threads about him like he is dead.

What a fucked up world. I am sad, devastated and I will not forget my friend. I will keep trying to find out what happened.

Does anyone have his boyfriend's skype, I had it but lost it.

Well......it is terribly sad but here you have the answer to what happened.

It is, even in the 21th century, often very difficult for young gays to tell their parents about their sexuality. But if in addition your parents learn that you are a necrophile.....it is the end of the world. For the necrogay and for his parents...

Thus, by doing what he did, Eric's "boyfriend" killed him. And it is exactly because of that kind of awful creatures that the world is such a fucking place as MP says.

What a TERRIBLE, TRAGIC, DEPRESSING story.
 
I prefer to think that for the reasons Arrow has just mentioned, Eric has simply taken himself away from the forum, and wiped all trace of it from his computer, and wont come back to it. Perhaps he is alive and well. Please let him be alive and well. He is so beautiful.
 
I too hope that, like feetboy said, he just wiped his identity from the forum and moved on with his life. Surely there would have been some coverage on the Canadian news media if something happened (which I assume there isn't?)

ERIC was INSTRUMENTAL in the formation of CDG
and what an exceptional guy was he. ​

Seeing the photos of Eric here again and hearing all of this has made me very sad, those of us who so dearly knew perfect Eric will never EVER forget him.​

And his likes will NEVER be seen again, he was just perfect in every way and the hottest guy I've EVER EVER KNOWN.​

wow, reading through all this really make me sad. I hope this boyfriend gets what he deserves. the most painful experience anyone can ever experience for something he done that was really uncalled for. RIP Eric if you are really truly gone.

I spent so many happy evenings with Eric, esp I remember one Christmas when I was still a student - poor, lonely and depressed and in bitter cold we posted all night on CDG like crazy.

He posted so much new stuff and his witty comments and sense of humour are unmatched to this day.

He posted his feet photos for us, we begged him all night and when he finally did the whole forum went berserk.

I loved him to bits.

We were a small community back then, it was absolutely insane. I haven't felt such thrill and joy ever since.

When his boyfriend told me on skype that Eric had tried to kill himself the whole forum fell silent for days and no one dared post a word.
 
Such good times we had back then, Pie ..
when ALL was so fresh and innocent,
even the ENTIRE WORLD ITSELF
was so much better and happier.

So many issues and problems since,
IT all started when Dearest Eric left us. ​

In his last email to me he said:

When I got that email I didn't take it seriously and even laughed.

I was so stupid, I was barely 23 yo. I replied "Hahahahah, you will make a beautiful dead guy."

But when he disappeared and didn't log in for months I realized that something was up but I never imagined he was really planning to kill himself.

He said that his life was torture and hell since his bro found out pics of dead guys on Eric's pc.

He started to threaten him, use him, abuse him, insult him and wanted to beat him to pulp.

Eric wanted to move out but had no money because we were both at university back then.

His bro was violent, abusive sad fuck. Eric was more sensitive and it hurt him that his bro was calling him a faggot and threatening him all the time.
