Female Lawyer Shot Dead in Carjacking​




39-year-old lawyer was murdered in a parking lot while getting into her car. She had been going for a brisk walk while waiting for her daughter in a nearby park to finish ball practice.

Several men surrounded her with firearms and demanded she hand over the keys to her Suzuki truck. News accounts differ as to whether she resisted and they shot or or whether she complied and they shot her anyway. Whatever the case, they shot her once in the chest and took off in the Suziki. It was a fairly crowded area so multiple people called the police who responded quickly but the woman was dead where she fell, face down.

The news tory went out onto social media very quickly along with her license plates and a photo of the truck. The assailants were identified and captured within an hour.

Unfortunately she was dead in the parking lot so it didn't matter much to her. She was a prominent and popular local figure, so the story was big news in the area and many people are sad for her passing. Photos were being pulled and censored as quickly as they were being posted. Dead lawyer photos are somewhat tough to find since the news sites are always afraid of getting sued.
