2 robbers shot

2 guys on bike attempt robbery, but shot by a policeman. 23 yr old died immediately - 25 yr old died on way to hospital. Quality variable - and progressive jpegs - they need time to load

Great additions Jon, quality is not variable, I would describe it as poor.

What is a progressive jpeg?

Yes - they were the best that I had on that one. They look even worse because they loaded 'progressively' in 3 layers. A progressive JPEG begins fuzzy, but gradually sharpens as it comes into focus, as the 3 layers load and fill in the pic. Unfortunately, it makes a fuzzy pic look even worse until it loads up. But it is useful if you are working on a site that is slow, or if the files are big - it gives the illusion that the picture has downloaded faster.

It serves no particular purpose on CDG. I was using it to adjust large graphs for a client - and did not switch the settings back.

Dumped stark naked, wrapped in plastic and with head chopped off. Dated evening of July 15 2010 - pictures not very good, sorry. Had a quick look for better quality, but ran out of time. Hopefully more will turn up.

Biker aged mid thirties - killed outright when he ran into the back of a lorry. His teenage pillion passenger walked away with a few scrapes and bruises.
