Mine is not very expensive.

My cell phone has a 8 pixel cam and takes decent snaps but nothing interesting, after all I am not in Brazil.

Problem is in my view that in Brazil people choose the cheaper models of cell phones with VGA cams and that's why their vids and pics are blurry and pixely.

Hope this improves.

What do you think about that?

Phone manufacturers are trying to give us bit of everything in a small phone - OK as far as it goes - but I find that my phone does give me a record of things when I don't have my camera - - its better than nothing - but not very good - and in poorer countries much worse! Even cheaper technology.

Some cameras - even more expensive ones - are heading the same way - instead of going for better pics - they are adding video and face recognition. BUT - A 12 Megapixel camera with a blurry lens - gives a 12 megaixel blurry pic! and exceed the capability of the sensor.

The really sharp cameras with good resolution - remain quite expensive - but can give stunning results Even in low light - where other cameras give grainy effects because they ramp up the iso to try and capture the pic.

Others here at CDG may have a different view to mine.

Dead on siedewalk - repost

A good quality pic taken with a canon SLR. I picked this up about 9 months ago - so I am sure it will be here at CDG somewhere, but here it is in case you missed it.

I am reposting this because I came across a stunning version of this recently in ultra high res. The original is 22 inches by 200 pixels - and is too big for imagebam.

I have trimmed it down a bit to reduce the size to below 4 MgB and have posted it in the secret room.

I agree with you, I am satisfied with my cellphone cam, as I said I don't have any dead guys around otherwise I would be snapping them all day.

In better times - if I can ever afford a really good camera - I might just treat myself to an extended visit to South America - just to try out the camera!!! - On the scenery of course!! :wink2:

Well - my feet r a bit knobly!!! and I am a bit shy showing them - But my cock and balls r ok!!! (ish)!! I will leave a note in my wallet with instructions that I am to be photographed naked - in HR - balls and cock showing - and the pics sent to CDG (for the secret room of course!!) :wink2:

These 2 guys were executed. Quality of pics is on the low side - but interesting.

RTA 4 dead

4 killed and 2 injured in collision between bike and car. The car burst into flames. Both guys on bike died - one was 19 the other 36 (if i read it correctly!). Note the severe leg dislocation on the biker.

Retrospective - a backwards look

Regulars here will know I had a very big system crash last autumn. I lost some pics - but most of my very large collection survived. Sadly my database got damaged which linked everything together for me. I am slowly sorting it out. As I work my way through I occasionally come across older pics that need to be re-sorted. And although old, some of these are still quite HR for their age.

For the benefit of new collectors who may have missed them - I will post them here and in their original higher res in the secret room.

Here is one dated 2001 (dated according to damaged database) - it pre-dates CDG, and many of the recent gore sites. These retro pics may be repost for regulars here.
