But there are others that are haunted, scarier and creepier places (you should see the abandoned Indian boarding schools (they are the closest thing you can come to here that feels like a Nazi concentration camp (sometimes you can hear crying and feel the misery)))

For the most part, Montana can be tolerant. The Indian reservations (we have seven) are pretty open minded. Missoula is the liberal capital of the state, and the most close minded place is probably Miles City (don't go there!).

I get the impression that almost anywhere south in western european countries is the best. Southern France, Italy, Germany etc. Southern Germany/Austria, the Austrian Alps would be my first choice to visit but my family is originally from there. There are more opportunities for work and free expression in the U.S. than other countries, but we have serious problems here. A corrupt, corporate serving government for starters. Anyone who thinks America is a democracy is deluded. Secondly, we have no borders. The mexican drug cartel is taking over most cities here now, illegal immigration is a plague, and the last administration pretty effectively shredded our Bill of Rights with the "Patriot Act". It happend after 911. Being European Meatpie, you remember the "Enabling Act" of 1933. Hitler pushed it through after the Reichstag fire which he blamed on communists but was actually caused by the Nazis. 911 was our version. Hitler went into Poland, Bush went into Iraq. I guess nobody knows the whole truth about all this, but you can see the parallels. Blacks are not overunning our country like mexicans, but where they ARE, there's crime. Poor white people do not commit the number of crimes that poor black people do. It's sad, but in countries where black people are dominant, there's chaos. Haiti, Somalia, Darfur are examples. I've got nothing against black people, but this is reality. After saying all that, I love my country and would rather stay and fight for what's left of our democracy than running away to Canada or Europe. It's just real sad what's happened to our country. Corporations run EVERYTHING. They've even bought off our supreme court. The ruling they just passed giving corporations the right to spend unlimited money to influence our elections is proof.

We don't have a single black person here, I have seen only one in my life.

They are tolerated here, no one will attack them or call them names but if they try to find a job - forget it.

Gypsies here have full rights as any other citizen and discimination is forbidden.

I will also tell you something about your Europe that I think you don't know.

Last year around 200 gypsies left Romania and moved to Italy and settled on the outskirts of a small town.

The local population gathered around them and told them to leave immediately or they will be violence.

This is not allowed by EU law but police could do nothing as it was the entire population of the town against 200 gypsies.

They stayed for a while refusing to leave but finally the Italians drove them offf and those gypsies went back to Romania.

I will also tell you another thing that they don't show on CNN or BBC.

In the heart of Paris, there are around 1,000 people immigrants from my country who live in a public park in tent cities like those in Haiti.

They are from poor countries in Eastern Europe who went to Paris to find a job.

But no one would take them as the French disciminated against them although they are white people....I guess they just didn't trust them.

Police tried to move them authorities banned them but nothing....they could do nothing.

Those people were starving in the centre of Paris, and this happened last year.

So the EU thing is bullshit, discrimination is everywhere.

There are surveillance cameras everywhere and the police would even ransack you on the street if you look suspicious.

So Europe is far from perfect.

I like the US because it is big, if you can't make it in your state you move to another state and try to make a living, you are still American why in the EU this is not the case.

There are so many small countries with theit different languages and everyone is suspicious of the others.

Europe also has its violent past and people remain prejudiced against foreigners, even though we are still one union now.

And there are many other things I can tell you about Europe, far from perfect, the US offers much more oppurtunity.

I knew there was discrimination in Europe, worse than in the U.S. because of long standing prejudices and suspicions that go back longer than the U.S. has been a country. I have to say though, that although blind hatred of anyone because they belong to a race or culture is not a civilized attitude in my opinion, it is VERY important to watch what immigrants DO in your country. It's important to watch your borders. In the U.S., you only hear the government give lip service to the idea of securing our borders but we all know they never will. The reason, is always the reason that our government does ANYTHING. Money and commerce. Protecting the interests of the corporations. Big business does not want regulated borders because the mexicans provide a cheap labor force which increases the profits businesses can make. National security for our citizens is ZERO on their list of priorities. The drug cartel is taking over our cities, gang members walk across into our country, thousands a week, crime is up, Americans have to pay for the housing, medical care, education that illegal aliens get FREE.
So we are almost the opposite from what your m8s in Europe are. The way you describe it, in europe (France), citizens are suspicious of immigrants to the point of hostility and violence. In the U.S., it's total apathy by our government. They could give a RATS ASS the security danger we have from open borders while we're at war. It's all about money and kissing the asses of their corporate bosses that motivate our politicians.

I am not sure about what the situation is in Germany but I wouldn't be surprised, Germans are terribly racist.

Gypsies are actually Indians who migrated to Europe centuries ago. Their culture is different, they look different and on the streets here they talk their own language that we don't understand.

In the gypsy neighbourhood unemployment is 90%, absolutely no one wants to hire them or if they give them work it is garbage collection or other manual jobs.

Gypsy kids are not accepted in schools and doctors will refuse to take care of a gypsy patient even if he is critical.

I know this sounds shocking but it is reality.

Discrimination is officially forbidden in the EU but it is everywhere esp against Gypsies, Turks and muslims.

I hate muslims, I hate Turks I can't stand them and I have beaten up a lot of gypsies in front of everybody on the metro.

Last year after a nasty fight I decided to give up on this hobby so I now avoid fights at any cost because things can quickly spiral out of control you can get stabbed etc and I will be taken to the morgue where they will wash my cock and feet and the gypsies boy will still be with his family, so NO.

People just seem to be getting dumber and dumber. I think people in the EU are smarter than people in the U.S. We've been pretty much insulated from reality in other countries. We only know what the news networks FOX, CNN etc tell us, and they are controlled media.
Your gypsies sound a lot like our mexican immigrants with one BIG difference. Instead of being refused medical service or jobs, or housing like the gypsies, the mexicans get it FREE, paid for by taxpayers like me. All they have to do is show up at the emegency room to get treatment they aren't insured for and they get it anyway. The jobs they get are the same as what the gypsies get, low skill, manual labor, or restaurants and maintainance jobs. It's all they're qualified to do.
Thanks for the info on the EU, I got family connections to Europe and love its history. After Germany, a country I'm really interested in is Switzerland because it is bordered by so many other countries. You have to be mulit lingual to live there. France, Italy, Germany, all have space in that country. I'm real impressed by dudes who speak multiple languages. Most Americans speak only english. It's a good thing english is the world language

I don't think people in Europe are more intelligent, the US is a huge country and you are self-sufficent, while in the EU small countries are totally dependent on each other, trade, natural gas, tourism - vital pars of the economy. Even if you run a small business you need to speak at least one foreign language.
