Executions in Uganda under Idi Amin

I think these are new to CDG.

Idi Amin was dictator of Uganda in Africa from 1971 - 1979. He led a brutal government and disposed of a number of his enemies by public firing squad. The men were stripped and wrapped with a white sheet, then tied to a post and shot by soldiers.

These photos show one of the unlucky fellows both right before his execution, being certified dead by a doctor and then his body being taken down.

I have another set I'll post later.

When bullets ran short he had the prisoners stand one infront of the other and beat the head of the man before you with a house brick then pass it backwards to the one standing behind you.

Here's another set.

The older guy is named Tom Masaba and was in the army. The younger guy was Sebastino Namirundu. They were "convicted" of being terrorists.





I like this shot - they're taking off his underpants - one last humiliation before he dies.

I love this shot - thank god they didn't tie that sheet on too tightly. If you look closely at his left thigh you can see where he pissed himself when he died.

I remember years ago (back in the 1970s) seeing a short film of a naked black guy getting out of the back of a truck, tied naked to a post watched by villagers and Idi(ot) Amin then the guy being executed by fireing squad! The black guy had a huge dick (looked to be about 10 inches soft it was big) and I recall getting a real hard on when I saw the film, I think it was German. Anyway, there were no white sheets for him he was stark naked and when shot the sight of his naked body slumped forward and huge dick excited me way back then and I was quite young at the time. From then on I loved to see big guys, hopefully naked, being executed! Yum!

One of the vids I linked to on the Firing Squad execution thread shows a Uganda execution: not completely naked (as above), but you see them naked in the trucks afterwards.

I did find a film - The Rise and Fall of Idi Amin - but it's British, not German. Not sure what's in it...

Hmmm...

Perhaps the film was General Idi Amin Dada by Barbet Schroeder. Supposedly it opens with an execution...

More on Tom Masaba & a quick contribution to this great thread - here is another picture of Tom Masaba - from the above series, after the execution. Sadly it is heavily watermarked. It is the same as above - perhaps slightly larger and clearer, despite the blotches.

I can remember reading a 'medical' type report which recorded that immediately after he was shot and slumped forward his 'penis started to become engorged with blood' 'particularly the glans'. The report attributed this 'engorgement' to the pooling of blood after his heart stopped, and his muscles relaxed, allowing the penis to rapidly fill with blood, and become 'engorged' ie swollen!! (posh term for erection I think) - 'glans' is the proper medical name for the sensitive purple knob at the end of the guys cock.

Its several years since I read this - so my wording may not be exact. I have it in mind it came from the doctor who was present and declared these guys dead. - but my recollection may be faulty.
