yeah, Yankees ambushed and surprised by the indians. First they take the guards out, sneaky, brutal with the knife. First yankee at the camp is seen from a distance, the nearest guard is tired and doing his best to stay vigilant until he's relieved. the barechested indians move across the sand as quietly as possible blade in hand, and with in seconds they are on him, hand goes around his mouth and before he can even try and cry out or go for his weapon the blade drives into his back. He squirms when the indian attacker pulls his knife out off his kidney, and then he finished him with several quick thrusts to the chest. Than the indiians roams silent through the camp, among the sleeping soldiers, And one by one, they killed them. They die quietly.By sunup, he is gone. The other troopers awaken to find half of their men are dead

The indian brace glides softly from tent to tent. Every time he sees a sleeping soldier, he whips out his knife and plunges it into the boy's heart

I like the theme. I saw a color drawing once, a blond soldier had been nabbed by some native americans. He's tied naked and being lowered on to cactus for his mahhole, howling out in agony while one or two of his captors pees on him and others are going through his things, or putting on the pants that were his, now theirs. As always I got so boned wishing it was real, wishing I were the soldier...but that cactus? OUCH!
