It is actually kind of interesting to watch people's reactions to an autopsy. I observed many in my first couple years of college and it was always the toughest sounding macho guys that ended up fainting, getting sick or having to leave the room. Luckily, we did not have any rotten or highly decomposed bodies to deal with. We got to observe freshly deceased individuals; some with the all of the tubing and sensors still attached as they died either in surgery or the trauma unit. The professors screened the cases and we got some bad one, but all of the bodies were still intact. Nothing like the Mexican drug cartel dismemberments or things of that nature.
