They suspect the guide who took him and his girlfriend into jungle, went off alone with Stefan then came back and told girlfriend there'd been an accident and tried to get her to go in jungle with him but she called police. yea, he was a hot dude alright. Sounds like there's a lot of speculation as to whether or not he was actually eaten (I prefer to think that he was), but it was confirmed that he was indeed murdered, dismembered, and cremated in a crude, but extremely hot campfire on the island where he and his friend were visiting.

If he was eaten, I am very curious as to what the cannibal(s) did... and what he tasted like.

I preferred to think the guide took Herr Ramin to a desolated place and then forced himself on Ramin sexually . Ramin fought back and was killed in the struggle . After having his way with Ramin's corpse , the guide got hungry and decided on a white meat barbecue and sausage . The rest was burned and left at the scene . Now if there is report of the strong smell of semen at the scene, then my theory must be right.
