I consider body hair as unesthetic, even on males. Personally I am not very hairy, I go to a gym frequently. Thus I have been waxing my underarms for many years, finally decided to undergo laser hair removal. Four treatment resulted with permanent loss of hair. I repeat the same procedure on my buttocks and deep bikini line except of landing strip. I shave or wax my legs, but only in summer. Smooth, well toned body is really amazing.

If the dude shaves because of sport, then fine. For pure vanity,then not so much. Hair is fine within reason - hair backs are a pretty acquired tasted. One I have yet to acquire.

Well, I don't have a strict aesthetic preference , I love men whether they are hairy, slightly fuzzy, or smooth. I love hairy guys,they have this earthy,cuddly warmth, and openness to them that is undeniably sexy. The smoother guys have an exposed, graceful, vulnerable quality to the way they look that says "I'm willing to be "naked" for you" that I find incredibly alluring. Perhaps that's why I am tired of the rival camps of hairy vs. smooth. Some (certainly not all) hair enthusiastic very often use this superficial "it's hot because it's naturally masculine" argument and then call smooth guys "vain and effeminate" which sounds misogynistic and homophobic to me. Plus some men come from ethnic groups that are not particularly hairy and why exclude a variety of stunning men from one's range of desire? On the other end some in the smooth camp deride hairy men as dirty, disgusting, lazy, etc. in a very neo-Victorian way that can only accommodate bodies when they are disciplined,odorless, sanitized surfaces or receptacles. Well, that's my two cents on the matter.

I'm not hairy at all. I have literally, no joke, 1 chest hair. I have hairy legs and relatively hairy pubes. Don't have much hair on top (anymore) either. As for what I like, a little body hair is ok, once you start looking like Robin Williams I start getting turned off.

I love hairy men. Thick chest hair,armpits,and especially hairy legs. I turn off when I see shave pubic area. All natural for me.
