I am waiting for ISIS to use this method. I bet they would be good at it and produce a quality video.

I want to watch him fry.

i love this new protocol of execution, i would be like to be that prisoner :)

GReat story Marky. Beautifully written as always
. Interesting how it takes a Brit to write about an execution method which is peculiarly american. Now perhaps a murder by Druid in honour of your principality.

Or even by snakebite - North Wales seems to be a hotbed of adder bites this year. So if anyone's thinking of cruising in the dunes at Pwllheli, beware the sort of oral you DON'T want :totally hot:

I've been waiting (patiently) for ISIS to produce a video of an electric chair execution. Knowing how they operate, I'm certain it would be of the highest entertainment quality.

The original Electric Chair at Sing Sing Prison in Ossining, New York had a spine or lower back pad with the helmet. There was a problem keeping good contact when the victim arched his back as he got shocked.
Thank you for sharing

I believe Ted Bundy might have been the last guy to die by electric chair here in the US. He fought like hell to stall his sentence through legal maneuvers, but they got him in the end. I'll never forget people outside the prison cheering on the day he fried chanting: "Buckle Up Ted--It's the law!!"

He sure is a handsome desirable man in death

I believe they may have smeared a layer of "conducting gel" on his shaved head to make certain the voltage transmitted properly through his body. Notice how his scalp burned and melted like candle wax.

I wonder if anyone filmed it.....

crispy bundy feet, such a treat!

Actually, several states still retain the electric chair, though all as an alternative either if the prisoner elects to die by that means over lethal injection, or as a backup if injection is ruled unconstitutional. The most recent execution by electrocution in the US, as of the date of this posting, was on February 20, 2020 in Tennessee.
