Excellent collection. All look the same: grey faces, protruded cyanotic tongues, sometimes flow of saliva, glazed eyesy, constricted neck. Just dead cute guys.

Yeah djbear. I guess you never know what you'll get when you hang. I love to see a good strangle face with a tongue bubble! Makes me think they got a good long hard ride! I always prefer the knot to the side and maybe even just a little in front of the ear in a hanging pic. That leaves them with their head tilted and face slightly up so you get a real good look.

I also love the guy with the light green rope. That ligature mark is wicked! Even the knot made an impression. You know that one did it's job and tightened all the way for him.

Is it more likely that the ligature mark will happen when the rope snaps into position or when it just grabs slowly? if one is lifted onto toes and passes out on the way up, I suspect the rope has less markings on the neck than if the drop is long and the rope suddenly pulls, perhaps snapping the nexk.

Some of these folk look to have had quite painful ends. Which, after reading that the new leader in Turkeye would have younger male royals strangled to solidify his rule. Supposedly this was gentle and more dignafied than the other options. Am I remembering this correctly?
