Part 4

A group of tourists were gestured to an alleyway. This was where the super hero known as spider-man had met his end. Twenty years ago, after facing many opponents, Spider-Man was eventually defeated, by a large, semi naked muscular man, who was too strong for the hero to defeated. He eventually pinned him to the ground, choking the life out of him. Once his arms fell to the ground, the killer got up, laughing at his fallen opponent. Sitting on top of Spider-Man’s chest, the killer took out a beer, and started to drink.
“You know, I thought you’d be tougher to take down, kid!”
While celebrating his victory, Spider-Man’s ghost rose from his body, and started strangling his killer, until he too had breathed his last.
When their bodies were found the next morning, no fingerprints were found on the killer’s neck, so it couldn’t be determined as to what had killed him. To this day, people swear that you can still catch glances of the Spider-ghost haunting this alleyway where he died. A youth who was a member of the tour group was skeptical, until as they started to leave the area, he turned around for one last look to see the spectre walking towards him.

Part 5

Doctor Octopus was reading the newspaper. Today was a sad day. The main headline was SPIDER-MAN NO MORE: MENACE HAS SPUN HIS LAST WEB. After what felt like years of adventures, the young hero had finally expired. Doc Ock actually wept. He never thought that he would actually missed his young foe, and wished that he was still alive. It was then that he decided to do something about it.
On the night that he was buried, Octopus with the help of his young assistant walked towards the grave, where a statue of him in his prime stood. Then they started digging, digging up the coffin and taking it with them after placing the dirt back. In Ock’s lab, everything was prepared. They opened the coffin. Spider-Man had been buried in his costume. Octopus lifted him out of the coffin and onto the table. He studied the body; never before had he really appreciated what a magnificent specimen Spider-Man was. Feeling his body with his hands and tentacles, Octopus felt his muscles, including his abs and pecs. Once finished admiring, Octopus later attached the bolts to Spider-Man’s neck that was necessary for his resurrection. Once he had finished preparing the body, he pulled the lever that caused the table to rise into the sky, Spider-man’s body being struck by lightning. After this had happened, Octopus cause the table to return to the ground. He inspected the body. It started to twitch. Eventually, groaning, Spider-Man sat up.
“he’s alive!” Doctor Octopus cried out, “HE’S ALIVE!”
Spider-man got off the table.
“Spider-Man, I did it! I brought you back! This is wonderful! Just think about what I could do with this”
Spider-Man, still moaning, raised his arms at Doctor Octopus’ neck, walking towards him.
“Wait, what are you doing? NO! I brought you back! I brought you-GAK!”
Spider-Man wrapped his fingers around Doctor Octopus’ neck choking him. The tentacles attempted to stop him, but the undead Spidey was unaffected, until he had strangled all the life out of Doc Ock. He now turned his attention towards the young assistant.
“NO! NO!” He pleaded, backing away, only being strangled himself. The franken-Spider placed the body on the table, before walking out of the lab, waiting to explore the outside world.

Part 6

Spider-Man was in the middle of a battle, dodging blades and arrows and spears, taking down combatants with his webshooting. He had been transported back in time to ancient Egypt.
“Right,” He said to himself after taking down the last opponent, “Now to find a way out of this time period-“
Just then, he felt his spider-sense, but it was too late for him to dodge an arrow.
“URGH!”
He cried, clutching the arrow that had pierced his chest. He fell backwards, fallinginto an arched position on top of the heap that he was standing on. The other warriors walked towards their fallen hero.
“No!” One of them cried, “NO!”
Soon they all started weeping, their tears falling on their fallen hero as they touched and kissed his body. Still weeping, they carried it into the city, where it would receive the proper preparation.
With Spider-Man’s body laying on a table, the embalmers washed it with water and good smelling palm wine. Cutting a small incision at his side, the embalmer removed his inner organs (save his heart), and injected a small hook through his nose, smashing up his brain and scooping it out. Then they covered and stuffed his body with natron. After the waiting period he was washed again and had oil applied to his body, and then wrapped in linen with his costume still on, beginning with his head and neck. Protective amulets were placed within the wrapping, while a priest read out spells to protect Spider-man from evil spirits. A death mask resembling spider-man’s face is placed on the head of the mummy, with the webshooters and the belt containing the web capsules attached around the mummy as well. Once he was wrapped in a cloth, Spider-man was placed in a coffin that was made to resemble him in life. During the procession people fiercely mourned for their hero, touching and kissing the coffin, that was taken to a pyramid painted to look like Spider-man’s costume and placed in a sarcophagus.
As the millennia passed, however, the colouring faded, so that it just looked like another limestone pyramid. Two young archeologists were excavating the site. Both were fairly muscular, one wearing a sweaty green t-shirt, the other one shirtless, showing off his fit, hairless body. After surviving a number of traps, they eventually came to the main chamber. They were surprised at how few possessions this royal official had, in spite of the large tomb he was given and the lengths the architects went to protect his body. While the shirtless one was looking at the walls, the other one broke into the chamber that held the body. He was shocked to see that the sarcophagus looked like Spider-Man. Curious, he started disturbing the mummy.
When his friend called out to him, he got no reply.
“Hey, didn’t you hear me?” He said as he walked into the other chamber. He saw a mummy’s coffin propped up against the wall, with his friend lying in it with his arms crossed.
“Hey, quite fooling around,” He told him, walking towards his friend. He grabbed his friend’s wrist, and was shocked at how cold it was.
“Bro, wake up!” He cried, shaking his friend, with no response.
“Bro? Br-bro? No. NO!”
The archeologist cried out in grief to find his friend dead, kissing him as he gripped his muscles.
“H-how? How did this happen-?”
He backed away as he saw the Spider-Mummy advance towards him, gripping his throat. Eventually, despite his struggles, he soon joined his friend down the journey in the afterlife. Leaving the body on the floor the spider-mummy, now unleashed, started to walk out of its tomb….

part 7: the Puppet Master

Spider-Man webslung to an abandoned theatre, where a number of kidnapped people were being held. Going in, he came across the main stage, where for some reason hung life sized puppets of fellow superheroes; strangely enough, these were all heroes who had gone missing.
“Welcome Spider-Man,” a man greet, holding other people hostage, “To my set. I am the puppet master, and I am willing to free these people, in return for you.”
“All right. Take me in their place, just let these people go!”
“As you wish.”
The puppet master did as he had promised, letting the hostages go.
“All right. It’s just you and me. What exactly do you want?”
The puppet master brought up a gun.
“To add you to my collection.”
He shot a poisionous dart at Spidey.
“OOH!” He cried as the dart hit his heart, causing him to fall to the ground sprawled.
Having thrown spidey over his shoulder, the puppet master brought him to his workshop, where he slammed him on the table. He stroked his torso, admiring his prey before starting work.
Soon Spider-Man had been turned into a living puppet along with the other superheroes that Puppet master had killed; He had been drained of blood, his organs removed, his bones wired together, his skin had been doused in chemicals so that it wouldn’t decay, and his body stuffed before being put back in his costume and had wires attached to his body. Testing out his new puppet, the puppet master used the strings to pull the body standing up, waving its hand.
“Happy Halloween, everybody,” He said, mimicking Spidey’s voice, “Remember, don’t go about desecrating graves, or fondling corpses, or murdering people, or murdering people and desecrating their corpse, or try to bring people back from the dead, or even go to places where you have no place in being. Otherwise, you might end up being feasted upon by one of the number of ghosts and ghouls that walk the earth during this time where the spirit world and physical world are at their closest!”
