20 year old HK-born student living in the UK got wrapped up in some major Twitch drama involving her and another streamer. The guy wound up posting dozens of their private chats and, allegedly, some illicit photos when their relationship went south. She stated that she was overwhelmed with shame and did not want to continue in the community, so decided to hang herself and livestream it to punish him. She was also (obviously) struggling with major depression issues.

The actual hanging sequence in the video is lengthier than many hanging videos because, according to EMTs commenting on the case, she likely tied the noose improperly and took a very long time to lose consciousness as she slowly strangled herself to death. Because the frame cuts off her face it is impossible to tell exactly when she loses consciousness, but she is exhibiting fairly deliberate movements alongside minor decerebrate posturing for the first minute and a half of the actual hanging. Around that point (in the 4:00 - 4:10 timestamp range of the video), both of her arms suddenly drop after gripping at the door handle, her legs begin a series of intense spasms, and she loses control of her bladder and can be seen urinating down her leg. Everything subsequent to that appears to be involuntary reflex movements until she finally begins agonal breathing in the last few seconds.

A fellow streamer called the police, who were eventually able to locate the apartment (through the boyfriend) and get inside, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
