I make no comment about all the above other than the fact that they're all having a very bad day, and set to have an even worse one shortly.
(These all come from using Google language tools to translate search terms and do an Image Search search in foreign languages. The searches that tend to be most productive are in the languages of countries that still have extreme legal systems, such as China, Thailand, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Vietnam, parts of Africa, etc.)
China, Thailand and Vietnam in particular like to name and shame their criminals publicly, hence the very large numbers of pictures of criminals being sentenced appearing in their local press. A lot of them appear to be very young, I suppose because they are often sentenced for drug-related and other crimes often associated with young men.

More condemned 20-something males
Vietnam seems to be stepping up the use of capital punishment against young males – all adult killers or drug pushers in their early to mid 20s. All of these criminals are without hope of reaching their 30s: they have been sentenced to the firing squad, and in some cases have already been killed by the state.
Many executions are carried out in public – some are on YouTube, linked to by CDG – with the victims tied to posts, shot by a squad of soldiers, and then once more in the head by the squad leader.
