Here's one I took at a wild west town in Gran Canaria a few years back.
Wish I could find the original pics so I could photoshop them, also had another
shot of his face contorted as they hoisted him which I'll try to find.

of course lonesome dove had a really good hanging party. Nothing quite as good as seeing men beuing strung up.

only two better things, if your one to be hanged then I figure your own hanging is a hell of a lot better than watching the hangings of those before you, and for the hangmen stringing the outlaws up is the best thing.
