Why do all films do it the same way? Dead bodies, unless in very salty water, with no air in their lungs, sink. Thats why drowing vics in open water can be so hard to locate. Also lips turn blue, and skin gets very pale/grey. Corpses only come to the surface after they begin to bloat, and hardly ever float face up, many hours/days later, depending on the water. Except in films.
