Here's one:

The crossbow archer fired in quick succession.
The first arrow near his navel stopped him cold in his tracks.
As he clutched his aching belly, the second in his right chest knocked him down on his back.
As he tried to stand up, the third punctured his stomach.
Panting, he saw the final and lethal fourth arrow approach with lightning speed, and felt it skewer his heart.
He fell back, gave a loud sigh, and lay still.
