Of course he was aware, he was right in the middle and didn't budge an inch!
People also push into my cart when queuing, it's absolutely annoying.
I never do that always keep some distance.
Another thing that absolutely makes me go bonkers is that local population here for reasons not entirely clear love to walk hand in hand on bicycle lanes, walk their children and most shockingly people in wheelchairs love to sit and wait right in the middle of a bicycle lane!
There are road signs every 10 metres clearly saying "No pedestrians. Road for bycycles only."
Lots of potential conflict there as well because I drive at high speed and can't stop fast enough if someone decides to jump up.
And when I drive a car it gets even more scary, kids can jump on the road from nowhere, old ladies decide to cross in the last minute...No one follows any rules these days.
I always stop for pedestrians when I am driving but when I am on foot or cycling most cars want to just run me over.
And the subway stations in rush hour are only for physically strong people, if you don't push you can't get on any train.
In Sofia, there are TWO seperate underground tunnels for pedestrians so that the flow of passengers is supposed to go in one direction in each tunnel.
There are big signs.
Sadly, only one tunnel is used and the other is virtually empty because it's 2 metres further away from the platform!
People getting of the trains prefer to take the tunnel closest to the platform and rush in the wrong one where there are passengers coming in the opposite direction.
In rush our it's mayhem.
This stupid situation remains unresolved.
If you ever come to Sofia you'll see.
And I don't want to even mention the escalators, no rules apply there although there are big signs they are used for running and sliding, you can leave your bags anywhere, stand anywhere so if anyone tries to walk on the escalator he needs to jump over your bags.
LoL
A kid fell of an escalator yesterday in Varna and is in now a coma brain damaged after sliding down while his parents were shopping.
