BBC said that the La Fayette class frigate deal was "one of France's biggest political and financial scandals of the last generation".
In the deal with Taiwanese government, a huge amount of money gone missing, possibly due to bribary or illegal commissioning. Because of that, 8 people involved in the contract died in unusual way.
The 20-year-old Taiwanese teen below was one of the unlucky victim, just because he was alleged to have received certain key evidences from his deceased uncle (who was the first in the death toll).

COD was claimed to be electrocution from hair dryer, but it was loosely based - obviously, the silencing action has gone abroad and supported by authority.
