"HAMBURGER HILL" from Nam

1969...I remember hearing the kill counts on TV every morning as I was preparing to leave for school. It didn't mean much to me then -- just a lot of nameless people dying a million miles away.

grow. The bonding and opportunities for

much of what we in this group like were

tremendous during any war.
 
Being told to fight your way up an enemy held hill is about the worst order an infantryman can get Some mortars and artillery or an air strike can help but you might as well say your prayers and prepare for death in battle
