I was considering him as a hero, suffering death for his country's sake, but I see it was a vehicle accident. Maybe it wasn't his own fault, I've been in military vehicles driven by "hotshots", but most times it's speed, which leads me to the conclusion that we live (and die) in the palm of our own hands. Still regrettable, no less.
Serving as a militant is difficult and risky.
But now in Taiwan, militants are not respected at all.
