Bank robbers gunned down by police

Sorry, if it's a repost, because the incident is from 2nd March 2010:
7 people (6 robbers and 1 employee) have been killed and 3 injured in an attempted bank robbery in Santa Luzia do Paruá in the Brazilian state Maranhão. Another 3 robbers have been arrested and 1 more was on the run. The gang arrived at the scene in 2 cars. Several people, including customers and employees were taken hostage inside the bank. But the criminals were surprised and surrounded by about 20 federal police officers who were an operation in the region.
