Actor Tiago Klimeck, 27 anos hanged on stage playing Judas Iscariot

He died on Sunday afternoon (22) the actor Tiago Klimeck, 27, who suffered accidental hanging two weeks ago. The information was confirmed by the Santa Casa de Itapeva (SP), where he was admitted in deep coma.
The accident occurred on Friday, on April 6, in Itararé (SP) during the staging of the Passion of Christ. Tiago played the part of Judas Iscariot. During the play, the actor had to climb a rock the stage with a rope placed around his neck, then simulate the hanging of character, as reported in the biblical story. In this scene, he suffered suffocation. The young man was unconscious for about four minutes until someone realized he was actually hanged.

Maybe the harness suffocated him somehow? You'd thing they would have noticed if the noose was strangling him. With the gurgling and tongue bubble and all. In that case it's sad that he died without getting a real good hanging.

here in the Philippines, some men really do have nails driven into their hands during Lenten Season.. and some even have themselves whipped until they bleed... to atone for their sins or something.. some men even do that every year, getting nailed on the cross and stuff.
