22-year-old Martin Neshkovski was killed during celebrations held in the square after parliamentary elections Sunday.
The dead body of the handsome young man was taken to the morgue in Skopje where he was undressed stark naked and autopsied.
The next day more 300 people have gathered in the central square to protest police brutality and the silence of officials.
The protesters say Neshkovski was beaten by the Macedonian special police force called simply Tigres. A spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior said that although officials were aware a special force member took action on a young man, they were “unaware of killing him.”
Protesters planned to march from the square to the police station to demand officials address the killings.
Relatives of the deceased posted messages on twitter saying officals told them to keep their mouths shut.
