During the 1970s and early 1980s, dozens of grisly homicides murders occurred along the freeways of California, with some victims turning up in the neighboring state of Oregon. The victims were young men and teenage boys, most of whom were savagely tortured and sexually abused. Some had been burned with a car cigarette lighter, and most had high levels of alcohol and tranquilizers in their blood systems, indicating they were rendered helpless by alcohol and drugs before they were sadistically abused and killed.

Great pics. Have they made a true crime movie about this guy?

1972

Edward Daniel Moore - 20 years old. He was a marine at Camp Pendleton and believed to be bi-sexual - he frequented several gay bars in Long Beach, San Clemente and Oceanside. Some men in Long Beach described him as a "hustler" type which suggests he may have been a part time prostitute. His body was found, fully clothed, near the 7th Street exit of the 605 Freeway. He had no belt or shoes and only one sock, the other sock was inserted into his anus. He was last seen at 11:30 pm December 22, 1972 on the streets of Oceanside - but the coroner put his time of death at Christmas Eve. According to the California Death Index - he was born April 14, 1952 in Kentucky and died December 23, 1972 in Orange County.

Damn, Randy was a real sicko! Wish there were pics of this vic though, sounds orgasmic

There are more pictures of his victims if you search the Internet. I just saw two more.

Sadly, the amount of attention for Kraft's case is lot lesser than Dahmer, Gacy and Berdella. But his serial killing story is actually way hotter than those ones. Kidnapping young marine guys, drugged them and have asphyxiation sex with them are just too hot and sick. Really wish there is more photos of his cases are public, since he photograph a lot of his victims in pornographic pose.

It was known as The Claifornia Freeway Killer? That is something I vaguely remember but doubt I ever heard the name. I certainly knew of Gacy and the others you listed so why did Kraft not become known? Is he still alive? How did he avoid death with th eneedle (I know California does not believe in that)?
