2 alleged drug personalities were killed in a buybust operation carried out by Tacloban PNP at around 11 pm last night in Brgy Caibaan Tacloban City.
A certain Ting-Ting Calixte is said to be the subject of the buybust operation with cohort named as "John Doe".
According to Tacloban PNP Director PSSUPT Rolando Bade, the suspects sensed the presence of Tacloban Police Officers in the area after the drug transaction that prompted them to retaliate and evade arrest.
Calixte allegedly delivered a stab thrust to an arresting Police Officer using a short deadly weapon while his cohort attempted to shot the operatives with the use of caliber 22 revolver.
The resistance of the duo prompted the apprehending officer to defend himself and neutralize the suspects that led to their instantaneous death.
