Oh dear! Oh dear! Today is proving very frustrating. Clicking on any link brings me back to the log-in page. Then when I log in (again) I am told that the log-in info was incorrect (which I am certain it is not). In the space of the last 15 mins I have had to log-in 20 times. This is not good.


......and now it is telling me I cannot send messages! Errrr!
 
If you don't like the current skin you can change it at the bottom of the page.
 
I manly access the site from an ipad and it works great here. Really like the design. Works fine with the theme of the site. Helps to highlight the content. Very good job. Congrats!
 
Changing website design is not an easy decision but like everything else in the world websites evolve and change, with time old skins become incompatible with newer forum versions and we have no choice but to remove them.

Currently users can choose between two skins.

We will open a poll soon on which skin we should set as default.

In the Ninja skin, the bottom line of some texts disappears halfway: see the screenshot below of the Recent Activity list, in the Last Post columns. This happens in the other skin too, but a bit less, and is independent of zoom.

Earlier today the black skin was screen wide (which I prefer), now there are empty side columns again.

Good luck with the programming: it must be a hell of a job, keeping the site in the air at the same time.

 
Thanks you for your screenshot. Design work on the forum skins is complete, entirely my own creation.

Try the ninja-wide style, hope it works for you, it is designed to fill the entire screen.

Ninja-wide is great! Could you provide a Black & red wide as well? That would be perfect for me (but I can live happily with the Ninja wide).

Congrats, great work. However, the problem I mentioned (screenshot) in #29 is still there.
It looks like the last line (saying "by PiercedChest" for example) is a bit too low, and the lower half of the letters is cut off.
Maybe a smaller distance between the top line and this line would solve that.
 
If you have no problems with the Ninja wide skin I suggest you give it a try, get used to it.

And about the problem with cut usernames - I am afraid that's a more serious template bug and may take longer to fix.

Any other problems with the Ninja skin? You definately have eye for detail!

I like all the versions, whatever is picked works for me.
 
I like this new grey/gold design better than the black/red. Is a lot easier to read.
It used to be that when I clicked on the "circle" for new posts and then came back after
reading the new post the circle would be gone. So if I did not read them in order I
would very easily know what threads I have read. I do not know if I changed something
or why this now happens to me. Is this happening to anyone else? Thanks
 
Unread posts show up when you first visit but are deleted from the system shortly after to save bandwith.
