Last year a straight couple moved in an apartment facing my bedroom.

Tall fit dude with big feet and a fat cow for wife.

He smokes a lot and last year I took pics of him and posted on CDG, I think he saw me.

They have a baby boy Martin, cries all the time.

Dude doesn't talk much but his wife is a monster.

She is fat and yells at her husband Danny all the time.

Yesterday evening she made a big scene, insulted him and chased him out.

Poor dude stayed out in the cold for more than half an hour, I have no idea how he can stand that.

The fat cow yelled so much the whole neighbourhoud could hear them.

Dude was out in the morgue cold, smoking a cigarette miserable as a dog.

I realized that straight people can be terribly unhappy.

I've always thought that gay people are inherently miserable because of the difficulty of finding a partner and then getting accepted in society.

But yesterday's scene changed my whole worldview.

And our other neighbour is a fit 30 who married last year had a son only to divorce a year later.

He is all alone now and lives with his grandmother.

We rarely talk but he met me on the street and said

"Dude, I am the most miserable guy in the world"

"Oh come on," I said and wanted to fuck him bad...I wanted to offer him to buy him a drink, take him to the mountains like Brokeback and nail him.

:stroke:

I think you are right Meatpie. The straight life is no picnic, and the older a person gets, the clearer it seems.

I've known too many straight women that suffered from abuse or abandonment from men, and had to undergo abortions or get stuck with unwanted babies.

Straight guys get abandoned too, like your neighbor, and then they'll usually have to pay for the divorce and probably get saddled with a big child support payment as well. Then if they lose their job or something and can't pay, they'll get put in jail, and that'll make it even harder to get a job when they get out. I've known several with this kind of problem.

It's a really good thing to be born immune from all these evils. We should count our blessings.

I think that sort of stuff happens a lot

Some guy marries his wife when she was thin and then a few years later he watches her transform into a big fat angry moaning cow

Yea, reminds me of that dude who just offed himself in an intentional house fire along with his 2 sons. I think he killed his wife as she had been missing for a couple years. The cops didn't have any evidence of that but I think what tipped him over was them finding incestuous porno on his computer and they were going to take his kids away from him permanently

I met him again today, we chatted.

He said he has become a total recluse, not leaving house for days.

At 6 pm he decided to go to the gym.

I met a female classmate today that got married several months ago and had a baby.

Baby was cute of course but she looked absolutely miserable and told me that she was very unhappy.

My parents want me to have a family and kids too but will I be happy?

No one cares it seems.

They want you to do that because it's "normal"

Just do what makes you happy, no point in being miserable and stuck with some screaming kid all day if it's not what you want

Been reading through this thread and just wanted to add my, "2 cents" in. It's true straight people can have issues as well as gay/bi/etc. I feel that the abuse and marriage this is looked at a little too... close minded here. As a Straight male I have had great relationships with my past girlfriends. I'm not one to start arguing over something small. My girlfriends have never found a reason to "yell" or "argue" with me over small things. These men that get "chased out" by their wives are generally men that are depressed with themselves for personal reasons or they don't take charge in the relationship and the women feel they need to take charge and it becomes a daily thing where the woman will be fed up with the situation. Woman want a man who can provide, be confident and strong. I some ways it might be closure, but more than not it's security.

On to the abuse. This isn't something synonymous with just heterosexual couples. Gays an Bis go through the same thing. Abuse stems from a form of weakness and insecurity. I have NEVER laid a hand on ANY of my past girlfriends. I have never had a reason to do so. The reason to do so is if YOU find a reason and it's usually a reaon stemming from your own head, never exactly what the other has/has not done.

I like what pigfoot70 here has said (easier for me to just type it out), "life is a struggle no matter what your sexual preference is."
That is so right in so many ways.

The whole having kids thing isn't as objective as one might think. Even gay couples adopt children. It's a parenting mechanism that all humans have. But, not all do adopt. Just as plenty of heterosexual couples don't have kids. Now, I'm very young. 22 to be exact. And I don't plan on having kids when I'm older. However, I may grow to not think that way anymore. Having kids is a responsibility that is not something to be taken lightly. It's hard. I've had to help "raise" 3 of my nephews. My sister's husband works a lot. A lot! As of now, I really can't stand the little bastards haha. But, Who knows. I may change my mind.

I'm reminded of a quote from Sigmund Freud: "The goal of life is Death." So, in essence, make of it what you will. Do what you must to get by. Do what you must to make you happy. Because in the end, the only thing that everyone on this planet can count on happening is death. It's the only inevitability we have to look forward to.

TL;DR we all have problems. Doesn't matter, be it you're gay, be it you're straight, be it you're bisexual, pansexual, whatever. Shit happens.

Just realized my quote is Meatpie's signature. You have taste, my friend. Kudos!:excellent:

Thank you, this is my favourite quote of all time and I haven't changed it for years.

I started reading Freud in school, my parents had all kind of interesting books in the library, including anatomy books, I especially liked the section on feet! :green grin:
