Two brave young friends decided to jump from the Saratov Bridge over the Volga river, Sothern Russia on a hot summer's day in 2009.

The jump proved fatal for both dudes and their friends taped their last seconds of life.

DUDES JUMP:

BOTH DUDES ARE DEAD, RELAXED BODIES PULLED FROM THE WATER. PARAMEDICS TRY CPR BUT IT'S TOO LATE.

Their friends are either very callous or very stupid- to not realize they may be dead, or more likely both. They seemed completely unconcerned after the first guy stopped moving and just floated there, it was very sad actually. He was probably struggling to survive. I don't understand these people.

Great find, Meatpie. "Stupid" is an understatement. Next stop, the autopsia vera morgue. Very sad, but it is for dudes like these that this forum exists.

well the gene pool is probably better off..... so sad though

Thank you for the video Meatpie. More teens in America need to view videos like that to help them understand that a brain isn't just something to fill the gap between the ears, it should be used. So many of them live such sheltered and privileged lives that they think they are indestructible. Stupidity is the number one killer of teens here.

I think it was obvious to everybody what was going on after the first dude jumped and stopped moving, not much his friends could do anyway.

But why the second guy jumped is beyond me, it was almost certain suicide.

Notice how they smoke pot before jumping, they hoped it will give them courage but looked what happened...

And very likely they were streched out stark naked on neighbouring tables.

You are welcome Snerdguy. I agree with you that teenagers, esp male tend to take unecessary risk that can easily prove lethal - driving fast for example, and drinking and driving are number one killer of young guys here too.

Yeah pot on the bridge...and how much Vodka before that. There wasn't much the others could do for the first jumper, but geeezzz....their reactions seem quite muted and listless given they just watched a friend die..

wow pretty heavy vids Meatpie :o but the first guy that jumped in the first vid, was already disappeared in the water when the second guy jumped??? o.O damn that went fast, anyway stupid dudes buy I agree with deadboy on that

Terribly sad. I guess they would be contenders for the Darwin awards. Were they just too stoned and drowned rather than from the impact into the water? Wish I understood what they were saying in the vids... :retard:

From watching the video, I feel the height they were jumping from isn't that high actually. In a park near my place there are lots of beautiful lakes surrounded by forests and some cliffs as well. Me as well as other guys sometimes climb on these cliff to jump in the water, and I feel those cliffs are quite the same height than the bridge those boys jumped from. The time it takes for the fall are very much the same too. Jumpers in Acapulco do jump from much greater heights too. Could it be possible these boys died because they were intoxicated with something? Alcohol or worse?

The guys in the first vid are no the guys in the second vid - just thought I should point that out. I was convinced they were.

I'm wondering the height of that bridge. It doesn't seem very high in the vid.

MMmM...I thought it was a cigarette because of the brown tip. I thought the first dude was ok because after he hit the water...he moved his arms and legs and flotted for a bit (unless that was the water doing it for him?) and then were did he go afterwards when his friend jumped in?

Could for force of impact cause someone to die...like I don't know, a lung to clamps or have his brain hit to violently against his skull?

Looks like the second video has been removed. Does anyone have it to repost it?
