Richard Hollingsworth, 26, who didn't smoke and regularly went to the gym died after catching swine flu. He left a partner and two children.

That's a fucking preventable shame. Are there not any Vaccines? In US they have added a vaccination for H1N1 (Swine flu) to our regular flu shots. In fact the US has extra vaccines this year. If we have extra we should send them to countries that do not have any or not enough! Such a fine young man to die from a preventable disease.:RIP:

Swine flu is not a preventable disease. It kills by a hypercytokinemia.

Flu shots are useless because the virus is constantly mutating.

Thousands are ill where I live, majortiy young healthy people.

Tamiflu is also of no use, H1N1 is now resistant to Tamiflu.

You can read all this information at the world health organization website.

It is entirely different from the flu. They developed a vaccine for H1N1 (swine flu) last year and now include it with the regular flu shot. A lot of people died in the US
last year because they believed they were safe by having just a flu shot. Last year H1N1 was a separate shot. We have not had one vaccinated death this year.
Who knows what to believe anymore...Governments always lie to their citizens. I was going with the statistics from the CDC of the USA, (Centers for Disease Control).

Yes I think there's a vaccine but lots of younger healthy people don't get the vaccine because they think they can beat it. I have to admit I'm one who's never gotten a flu vaccine.

Oh yeah, he's really cute, beautiful in fact. I'd get the vaccine just to have fun with his corpse.

I also didn't get vaccinated. They give free tamiflu here now but it's no use.

The normal UK vaccine this year includes swine flu - it's free for elderly, those with health problems etc, others can pay for it. Most healthy younger people don't get it (I don't). Almost all the UK deaths have been unvaccinated, and majority (not all) did have underlying health problems of one sort or another. So looks like the vaccine is working reasonably well - doesn't always stop you getting it, but makes it less serious if yiu do.
A friend of mine was pretty ill with it over Christmas - they put him on tamiflu, and it did work, he recovered quickly thank god.

he will be burned at enfield crematorium on friday of this week. i wonder if he will have socks on. poor guy.

I believe they will put black socks on, yes.

very very beautiful eyes; reminds me of the straight boy that fell in love with me at the office--oh snap!
