After careful examination of the photos, I find that there are ten bullets in his back, which include his shoulders and neck. One in his right biceps. Three in the left side of his neck. One on his left side under the arm. One in his upper right chest. That's 16 accounted for.
To shoot him in the neck from those angles the shooters would have had to been at close range. I suspect it was several people who stood around him, perhaps two behind him, and two on either side of him, and they all shot him at once. That means each person averaged about five shots. He must have been cute because they didn't shoot him in the face. Zooming in reveals he was probably cute, but it's blurry and only a side shot.
Yeah, definately overkill, but they had some real fun that day.
