Today is Guy Fawkes Day in Britain, a perfect excuse to burn some "Guys" at the stake. Does anyone have any Guy Fawkes stuff out there in Cute Dead Guys land?

Oh yes, it is worth noting on the eve of the American elections, Guy Fawkes was the "guy" behind the gunpowder plot to blow up the House of Parliament during a joint sitting of the House of Commons and the House of Lords, thus killing all of the English Government.

I grew up in the UK and really enjoyed "Bonfire Night" or Guy Fawkes night. Kids would go door to door and say "Penny for the Guy", I suppose to pay for fireworks. We always had fireworks, and it was a family/social event. We would stuff a dummy and put him on top of a huge bonfire to watch him burn, along with letting off fireworks. Seems bizzare now , but fun memories.

Good stuff Stevo, I'd love to do that again, except I'd like to see a real "Guy", or be the real "Guy" on top of the bonfire. All in fun though, no real damage, just organize some pyrotechnics "guys" together to set up a very realistic simulation.
