Awww... bless you for that, good buddy! After the horrible day I had yesterday you've touched my silly patriotic British heart and made me want to cry. Yes, here's to our British Queen, happy and glorious, long to reign over us... Just look at her, buddy! Isn't she fine? She's the only monarch most of us have ever known. She's our link with the past when we were a proud and united people and we defied all comers, and she's still here for us now when we're tearing ourselves apart, but we're going to lose her, buddy, we're going to lose her. And what will we have left then to remind us of who we once were?

I tell you what our true friends in America can do for us. They can do everything in their power to stop the Tea Party spreading lies about us, telling the world that we've already caved in to the Muslims, that we're a bunch of godless socialists like the North Koreans, that we run death panels and leave our sick babies to die, that our old people shiver untended in hospital corridors and end their days with no one to feed them or clean up their mess, that our brave soldiers in Afghanistan are pussies fit for nothing except shooting Irish civilians. And stop them from lying about our history too, claiming Hitler would have conquered us if you Americans hadn't come to the rescue. We won the Battle of Britain long before you entered the war! (But we couldn't have won the war itself without your help.)

I know why the Tea Party are doing this. It's domestic politics. They're doing their darnedest to get rid of a clever, cunning, compassionate President who's trying to redistribute a little of America's wealth, while their agenda is for the rich to keep ALL the wealth for themselves. Ninety percent of the American people would never dream of voting for such a cruel agenda, so the Tea Party are having to resort to lies. First they tried the Muslim-in-Chief ploy. That didn't work. Then they tried the phoney birth certificate ploy. That didn't work. So now they're gunning for the President's 'socialist' policies of high government spending, state intervention and universal access to healthcare, and they're claiming that these are based on the British model, and everybody knows what a pathetic shambles of a country Britain is. Why do they know this? Because the Tea Party keep telling them so!

They're being very clever, and they're being very dishonourable. because most ordinary Americans are too busy putting food on the table and making sure the kids get a good education and following domestic issues to have much time to study British politics, so belief in the lies is spreaing like wildfire. The trouble is, my American buddy, the rest of the world is beginning to believe the lies too, and we're becoming a global laughing stock.

God save the Queen, buddy, and God bless America, but to hell with König Georg III and the Tea Party.
 
Just to make it absolutely clear, my ace-of-all-aces mate, we Brits love you Yanks just as much as you love us. Our two countries have been friends for well over a century because of our shared values. But there are over three million Muslims here who refuse to sign up to our values, and the only organisation in Britain that campaigns openly for them to be thrown out is the 'extremist', 'racist' English Defence League (the EDL). But the EDL draws its support from the white urban underclass, and Britain is such a class-ridden society that the middle classes sneer at the ill-educated EDL yobs with their St George flags and their 'Support the Troops' tee-shirts and their uncouth accents, while the Muslims are tolerated even when they carry green flags and campaign for the introduction of Sharia Law. Even more alarmingly, when London was burning last August it was the blacks who'd set fire to it! The country's fracturing along class lines, buddy, and there are so many classes and sub-classes, some of them like warring tribes, that the centre isn't going to be able to hold much longer and the whole thing's going to fall apart. I'm sure the Queen must think sometimes "How did this happen? How on earth did this happen? Haven't I always, no matter how many mistakes my children made, tried to set a good example? I might just as well never have existed." And one day she won't exist any longer, and our past will have died with her, and we'll be left with nothing, fighting each other in the dark.

And now I actually AM crying.

btw: in Michigan they never seem to shut up about the shape of their state, always prancing about going "if you come from Michigaaan, put your mittens up, put your mittens up..." Do you reckon the folks in Florida make the same kind of fuss about the shape of THEIR state?. Maybe I'll visit Orlando and prance about in the middle of the night singing "If you come from Florida, get your dick out, get your dick out..." No, best not do that, cause I'd most likely be shot.
 
Craigie lad - as one of those ploor bloody infantry I can tell you we are better than just shooting (armed) Paddys - but we have been repeatedly sent to the Stan without a clear mission, with the correct or enough equipment and as a result too many of us have ended up as CDG s - which I know is our fate in life but for what ? We fight "them" over there while two weak governments let "them" in over here. Britain is allowing itself to be destroyed by an controlled entry of people from everywhere including the EU - and is strained by it and the political correctness shoved down our throats. Scotland suffers from less population pressure than SE England luckily. I want all illegal foreigners who are not needed to work gone, and out of the EU to stop more coming in. That doesn't make me EDL, am a Scot anyway, EDL are yobs, UKIP can't win, hopefully an independent Scotlsnd will control immigration. As a soldier I'll fight where I am sent but it would be nice to have a reason why.

If anybody's still trying to defend our values it's soldiers like you. I think you're the last true British patriots, but I agree with you, you're in the wrong place. The people admire you and respect you, they love you. But what can you say about a prime minister who flies off for photo-shoots with 'the lads' while back in Britain the damaged lads who come home with broken bodies and wrecked heads can end up dossing on the streets because all the money's gone in welfare hand-outs to a bunch of parasites who'd probably yell 'baby-killer' at you if they knew you were a soldier? I hope Scotland doesn't leave the Union. At least the Scots still have some pride and a sense of their own identity. Seven million Scots are worth seven hundred million Muslims. :punch:

Please, don't sugar coat any of the Abrahamic religions. They are all based on genocide, pillage, rape, violence. Here's an excerpt of the wonderful book of "peace", the koran:

Agree with you. Now, How do you call a nation which hate Hitler but during 300 years, stolen slaves from Africa farced to go to unknown lands, more of them died before to arrived there. How many people did Brits killed than Hitler?

Islam dubs itself the religion of peace.. In all my years I have looked for it yet failed to see it. In actual fact Islam is not the Arabic word for peace but submission and surrender.

Islam's god is Allah.. They say this is the Christian god Jerhova too but that is a lie. Allah existed during the life of Mohammed specifically in the religion of his family and most of Mecca's population: Paganism! Allah and the crescent symbol adorned on all Islamic flags are of the Pagan moon god not our god.

Although I follow Christian tradition I do not follow it as they do Islam. Infact 90% of Christians don't follow their religion in the way Muslims follow Islam. Word for word they follow it and although the bible says homosexuality is wrong and talks of sinners going to hell we choose to disregard it and as the bible says "GOD WILL JUDGE" not man!

The Koran is specific! The Koran informs Muslims to kill non-believers, to push walls over gays and to carry out this frankly barbaric blood sacrifice they call Halal. Get this: They don't stun animals in the UK before they slice their throats because they complain the meat to be "impure". I also hate it when they use the race card to defend themselves because they are not nor ever will be a racial ethnicity. They are a belief system and such a word as "racist" shouldn't be used as loosely as it often is.

Like I say.. for years I have looked for the peaceful in Islam. I have not found it. I also have found that they will lie and twist history to suit their own agendas like the fact that Muslims never actually ruled Palestine or Hitler's Mufti which is never taught or reported even though World war 2 is something everyone should know about but it seems the fact one of Hitler's closest allies was a Muslim Leader of Palestine is a thing people like to bury and hide away. Nevermind the fact he spun lie to Hitler to get him to rid Palestine of all Jewish citizens.

People wonder why we gave the Jews Israel's land mass. Nevermind the Christianity history that dates back 2000 years and Jewish history 2000 years longer!
 
All religions and races have their extremists but it is unfair to blame the majority of good honest citizens with liberal views for those bigots. There is much good in Judaism and its children, Christianity and Islam. Snag is we never hear of these moderates who comprise the great majority and who are happy co existing with their fellow citizens, just the extremists who are encouraged by the press since it makes great copy and sells papers.
And certainly I should prefer to live in Britain than the U.S.A. This place seems a far more tolerant society and we seem able to separate religion and politics whereas you guys seem to intertwine them.
 
This country is too tolerant and frankly I think too afraid to stand up for itself.. In the Midlands the Muslims of Alum Rock complained about the CCTV cameras along the shops. These types of camera are infront of almost any shopping area up and down this country and yet WM police were publically apologising for the use of the camera because they were called "racist" and promised to remove them.. Cameras still exist everywhere else though.

I take part in numerous discussions about this in a number of online ways regarding how I see Muslims to be. When Charlie Hebdo and his team were murdered they all supported it because of a stupid cartoon of Pedo Mo. Every one of them deny that Lee Rigby ever existed, they deny the thousands of young Muslims joining ISIS all across the world are real Muslims and they spend more time condemning Israel than they do the likes of ISIS, Al-shaabab and Boko Haram! When Joan Rivers died they all cheered and showed no humanity because she supported Israel and whenever an inncoent Jewish citizen is murdered they rejoice and cheer also.. These are not good and peaceful people at all. You would be hard pressed to find any Muslim that showed an ounce of sympathy in any case above

Everyone says "the majority are peaceful" .. Well they must be the silent majority which in my opinion makes them no better. Islam either wants to rid this filth from their religion or it supports it and wants it to continue and because these 1.6 BILLION people do absolutely nothing I am inclined to believe the latter. As I say they will riot and bay for blood when their prophet is ridiculed but do nothing when a group kills their families?? A group they deny has anything to do with their religion.

What ever they or you say about Christianity it is making the effort to evolve with amnkind while Islam refuses to. Anyone who opposes them they are more than happy to slit them from ear to ear and hack their heads off screaming like a raving lunatic.. This ideology is on our streets now as proven with Lee Rigby and the continued young flying to Turkey and coming back radicalized...

The most amusing part I have seen and what most Muslims agree with is the expectation that these jihadi people can just waltz back into this country and resumed to where they left off when they have become a traitor to this country, radicalized by Isis, a threat to national security and yet expects us to accept nothing ever happened. For simply supporting this group they are responsible as this group is for their atrocities

Hi mate.
Firstly I agree that the murderers of lee rugby and the atrocities in Paris cannot ever be justified. Secondly I agree that any lowlife who fights for Isis should be barred from ever returning here. Let him go rather to Saudi where they have proper ways of dealing with those they see as deviants and, unfortunately, those who stand up for liberalism. And no, I do not think that is the right approach, rather I believe that everyone can do whatever they want so long as no one is hurt.
However I still do contend that there are many good and honest Muslims who deplore the crimes and attitudes expressed on their behalf but without their approval. I have good Muslim friends who have the same liberal values as I hope I hold.
And for critisising them for not speaking out think of all those good Christians in Europe who allowed the democratic rise of Hitler and the subsequent genocide.
I should hate it if I were blamed for the extreme views of the chassidim and object strongly when it is assumed I must support Netanyahu.band in the recent election I voted for the liberal democrats despite disagreeing with some of their foreign policies.

Surely the same privilege should be accorded to the vast majority of Muslims

I think if you immigrate to a country for a better life, you are not there just there to take take take, and complain all the time about how your homeland you left in the first place was a better place to live. Just go back.
