our govt. should not censor these pictures ...this stupid war would end much sooner...which war you ask... pick one...we seem to have a penchant for the war thing nowadays....empires come and they go....embarresing

Americans support their soldiers. Soldiers do what their government tells them to whether or not they agree. The ugly truth is that American big business controls our elected officials in the Congress. American corporations like Northrup and General Electric make huge profits from war. Many energy companies are vested into foreign oil. They spend tremendous amounts of money on lobby groups which find ways to funnel it to our elected officials to buy votes. Big money tells the government what to do. The majority of Americans stand like deer in the headlights, shocked at what idiots our elected officials are.

The government doesn't like Americans to see the photos shown because it stirs resentment. The government prefers Americans to be stupid and complacent.

Interesting point! I've never lived in the States, but this sounds all too familiar from my neck of the woods! :-)
