Marines probe video depicting urination on corpses

Thanks phyzzie! I heard about this at the gym today. I'm sure the majority of people are vilifying them the self-righteous hypocrites they are, but what do you expect when you put otherwise sane people into the insane world of mostly unjustified wars
 
It is really common to need to relieve tension after a "contact" but if you piss on enemy dead it isn't a good idea to make a vid of it.
 
If only they hadn't recorded it, they could still continue doing things like that for as long as they please :drool:

I'd be pretty sure they're straight, all soldiers need to relieve tension after combat one way or another.

I do not think these Marines are acting any differently than warriors have for thousands of years. Throughout history warriors have debased their enemies dead and alive. It was common for the defeated soldiers to be raped by the vanquishing warriors before they were executed. Although it may offend us, coarse and vulgar behavior should be expected from people who have to put themselves in danger and kill other human beings whenever told to do so. I believe the video was made seruptiously with a cell phone camera and posted irresponsibly. Our leaders need to quit making an issue of it.
