Every country has it's mafia bosses but in Bulgaria organized crime reached endemic proportions as communism fall anarchy grew, perfect breeding ground for fit brutal guys who like to play it rough and became mafiosi.
Hundreds of young guys, some say more than 300 have been killed since 1995 when the first such mafia-style executions started to occur and the word "killer" entered the Bulgarian dictinoaries.
In this exclusive collection from my archieves, collected from newspaper articles I present some of the most notorious cases as well as one funeral big of two mafia bosses.
Most pics are from the latr 90s but some are from 2010, like the first dude.
