A court in Sweden has dropped all charges against Helena Ludvigsson and even paid her $8,000 in damages for bad treatment during her incarceration in 2012.

Yesterday she gave an interview for local newspaper GoteborgsPosten saying the police investigation ruined her life and she wants nearly two million dollars in compensation.

In Sweden sex change information is public.

Information about who has changed sex is n o t public in Sweden in the meaning that it is information free for anyone to take part of. That kind of information is public in the meaning that it is information controlled by the government but in practice it is secret. Every time this information is in demand, the authorities must make request of harm concerning the parts involved, in the cases about individuals health history it is never given out.

A person who change sex in Sweden also change his/her personal code number (something like social insurance number). The only concordance register between new and old personal code numbers are kept 8 floors down in a bunker beneath the Swedish National Archive and just two persons are authorized to access this specific room.
