Got a medical question. Most people who die with their eyes open, one of the eyes goes lazy. Why is that?

That's a great question. Anybody? I'm inclined to say that the involuntary muscles that keep the eyes pointing the same direction relax in death, allowing the eyes to roll unevenly as the head leans, or to sink into their sockets a little unevenly when the head is back. But then again, it seems to always be the left eye, doesn't it? We should take a poll.

I never really noticed if any particular eye is more prevalent to wander than the other. My thoughts are the same as yours with regards to why. The relaxing. But I always figured that the eye muscles would relax straight.
